Following the election, 32 new MPs were sworn into Parliament.
It's quite the first day on the job, trying to find your way around the massive complex that includes a gym, a swimming pool, and perhaps most crucially, a bar.
Two of those new MPs are Kiri Allan from Labour and Chlöe Swarbrick from the Greens. Seen as rising stars in their party, the pair joined us at The Malthouse to while away the time as the country waited for Winston Peters to make his decision.
